Eid-ul-Fitr congregation has been held in Sadar upazila of Panchagarh in line with Saudi Arabia and Middle Eastern countries. More than 50 men and women from 20 families of Kamarpara village in Hafizabad union of Panchagarh Sadar upazila gathered for Eid-ul-Fitr at around 10am on Thursday. At that time Imam Abu Saeed of Botaldanga Mosque of Kajaldighi Kaliaganj Union of Boda Upazila presided over the Eid Jamaat.
Abdullah, president of Kamarpara Mosque, said, “Our village home is in Chandpur Mamra area. We are according to the Hanafi school. Today is the 1st day of the month of Shawwal, the month of Ramadan has ended. That is why we are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today. For the past three years, we have been celebrating Eid in harmony with the Middle East and Saudi Arabia.
Note that for the last 3 years they have been participating in Eid Jamaat in line with Saudi Arabia.
